Current Weather Risk

Flood-affected districts remain vulnerable because slopes, riverbanks, roads and debris deposits are unstable. Additional rainfall can slow rescue work, trigger landslides or damage temporary access routes.

Official Nepal Weather and Flood Information

Nepal's Department of Hydrology and Meteorology is the primary official source for forecasts, rainfall, river monitoring and flood information. DHM lists toll-free number 1155: press 1 for weather forecasting and press 2 for flood early warning.
